Personal Resume for Bonnie Wyatt

I fell in love with Seattle real estate when looking for my first home here in 1978. I was fascinated with the variety of styles and the many neighborhoods and parks right in the city. That first adventure netted a 1910 fixer on Queen Anne that gave me an insiders view of old world charm and the invasive ability of plaster dust to settle into every corner of your home and soul.

As a buyer's agent, I think of myself not as a salesperson, but a matchmaker. There is nothing more satisfying than helping someone find the right home. Although the search itself may take months, the tough work begins once we locate a property. I am there to negotiate, facilitate the inspection, and make sure that the transaction closes in a timely manner. I especially enjoy working with first time home buyers and helping them to understand the language and process of a real estate transaction. More than one client has guessed that I am a former teacher!

As a listing agent, my job is to report market activity in the area to the seller and to market the property in a multitude of arenas. This includes internet, newspapers, magazines, local real estate offices, and appropriate target populations. I enjoy the opportunity to present a market analysis. We are such a diverse area with so many factors that can influence a buyer,  I find that an accurate market analysis is a blend of science and art.  Again, once a buyer brings an offer, I am there to make certain all parties are informed of the steps and timetable leading to closure.
